NFL Final Mock Draft 2026
The NFL Draft is where front offices define their future—and where bold decisions separate contenders from pretenders. This year’s class is loaded with high-end talent, but more importantly, it’s a draft that will be dictated by aggression, projection, and conviction.
Here is how I see the first round unfolding—and which teams are about to change their future.
Las Vegas Raiders – Fernando Mendoza, QB, Indiana
This is the cleanest projection in the draft. Mendoza is the future in Las Vegas, and new head coach Klint Kubiak gets a ready-made franchise quarterback. The 2026 Heisman winner has the tools, poise, and command to step in immediately and elevate this offense.

New York Jets- Arvell Reese, LB/DE, Ohio State
With the top quarterback off the board, the Jets pivot to a defensive cornerstone. Reese is a rare athlete with elite burst and power, capable of impacting the game at multiple levels. He instantly becomes the identity of this defense.

Arizona Cardinals- David Bailey, DE, Texas Tech
Arizona can go in several directions, but passing on the best pure edge rusher in the class isn’t one of them. Bailey is explosive, disruptive, and built to anchor a pass rush from day one.

Tennessee Titans- Jeremiyah Love, RB, Notre Dame
Yes, a running back this high—and it’s justified. Love is one of the most dynamic players in the entire draft. With Cam Ward entrenched as the franchise quarterback, Tennessee adds a game-breaking weapon who can carry an offense.

New York Giants- Sonny Styles, LB, Ohio State
Styles has skyrocketed through the pre-draft process, and for good reason. His versatility and athletic profile make him a perfect modern defensive piece. The Giants land a tone-setter for the middle of their defense.

Cleveland Browns- Francis Mauigoa, OT, Miami
Cleveland reinforces the trenches with one of the safest prospects in the class. Mauigoa is battle-tested, technically sound, and ready to start immediately. This is a foundational pick for Todd Monken’s offense.

Washington Commanders- Carnell Tate, WR, Ohio State
Washington wastes no time upgrading its weapons. Tate is arguably WR1 in this class and gives Jayden Daniels a true difference-maker opposite Terry McLaurin. Replacing Deebo Samuel with Tate is not just a reset—it’s an upgrade.

New Orleans Saints- Rueben Bain Jr., DE, Miami
If not for off-field concerns, Bain is a top-three talent. The Saints take the swing and land a potential elite edge rusher. This is a franchise-defining upside play.

Kansas City Chiefs- Mansoor Delane, CB, LSU
After moving on from Trent McDuffie, Kansas City reloads with the best corner in the draft. Delane fits exactly what Steve Spagnuolo wants—physical, instinctive, and built for big moments.

New York Giants (via Bengals)- Jordyn Tyson, WR, Arizona State
After a shocking move to trade Dexter Lawrence, the Giants go offense at pick ten. Tyson gives their young quarterback another high-end weapon alongside Malik Nabers. Joe Schoen is aggressive—and it pays off here.

Miami Dolphins- Spencer Fano, OT, Utah
This pick is about survival. Miami’s offensive line has been a liability, and Fano immediately upgrades protection for Malik Willis. He’s athletic, physical, and exactly what this unit needs.

Dallas Cowboys- Caleb Downs, S, Ohio State
If Downs is available, this is a no-brainer. He’s one of the most complete defensive backs in the class and a long-term leader in the secondary. Dallas gladly takes the value.

Los Angeles Rams (via Falcons)- Makai Lemon, WR, USC
The Rams are all-in, and this pick reflects it. Lemon brings explosiveness and future upside to a receiver room that’s preparing for transition. He’s the next piece in Sean McVay’s offense.

Baltimore Ravens- Olaivavega Ioane, OG, Penn State
It may not be flashy, but it’s dominant. Ioane is a plug-and-play mauler who instantly upgrades Baltimore’s interior. If guards were valued more, he’d be long gone by now.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon
Replacing Mike Evans isn’t realistic—but evolving the offense is. Sadiq is a matchup nightmare and gives Baker Mayfield a dynamic new weapon. This is a forward-thinking pick.

New York Jets (via Colts)- Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana
The Jets are building for their next quarterback, and this is a smart step. Cooper is a rising prospect with big-play ability and pairs nicely with Garrett Wilson.

Detroit Lions- Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia
This is a classic Detroit pick. Physical, disciplined, and trench-focused. With potential movement along the line, Freeling provides immediate value and long-term stability.

Minnesota Vikings- Dillon Thieneman, S, Oregon
The fit with Brian Flores is too perfect to ignore. Thieneman is instinctive, aggressive, and versatile—everything this defense demands.

Carolina Panthers- Kadyn Proctor, OT, Alabama
Carolina continues to invest in protecting Bryce Young. Proctor has elite upside and fills a glaring need. This is a necessary and impactful selection.

Dallas Cowboys (via Packers)- Keldric Faulk, DE, Auburn
Dallas doubles down on defense and walks away with a dominant haul. Faulk is explosive off the edge and gives this front another dangerous presence.

Pittsburgh Steelers- Caleb Lomu, OT, Utah
This is Steelers football. Tough, physical, and reliable. Lomu steps in immediately and upgrades both the run and pass game.

Los Angeles Chargers- Peter Woods, DT, Clemson
Too clean of a fit to overthink. Woods is the best defensive tackle in the class and fills a major need. Expect immediate impact.

Philadelphia Eagles- Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State
Philadelphia plans ahead better than anyone. Iheanachor is a developmental tackle with high upside and the perfect successor to Lane Johnson.

Cleveland Browns (via Jaguars)- Denzel Boston WR, Washington
Cleveland adds a physical playmaker to support its offense. Boston’s size and catch radius make him a perfect fit, especially for a developing quarterback.

Chicago Bears- Kayden McDonald, DT, Ohio State
Chicago gets a high-upside defensive lineman who can develop into a force. This is a smart value pick that fills a real need.

Buffalo Bills- KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
Even with the addition of DJ Moore, the Bills still need to add weapons to help out Josh Allen. Concepcion brings a dynamic element this offense has been missing. Pairing him with Josh Allen raises the ceiling of this entire unit.

San Francisco 49ers- Akheem Mesidor, DE, Miami
The 49ers need more juice off the edge, and Mesidor provides it. He’s rising fast and fits perfectly in this defensive system.

Houston Texans- Blake Miller, OT, Clemson
Houston addresses a major weakness. Miller is a plug-and-play right tackle who helps stabilize the line immediately.

Kansas City Chiefs (via Rams)- T.J. Parker, DE, Clemson
Kansas City keeps investing in defense. Parker’s upside is undeniable, and under Spagnuolo, he could develop into a serious problem off the edge.

Photo via @tomarrionn / Instagram
Miami Dolphins (via Broncos)- Avieon Terrell, CB, Clemson
Miami adds a high-upside corner with strong technique and pedigree. Terrell has the tools to develop into a CB1.

Photo via @avterrell_8 / Instagram
New England Patriots- Zion Young, DE, Missouri
The Patriots take a swing on upside. Young has the traits and production flashes to become a productive edge rusher with proper development.

Photo via @luzionn / Instagram
Seattle Seahawks- Chris Johnson, CB, San Diego State
With a major need at corner, Seattle lands a steal to close out the first round. Johnson has the tools to contribute immediately and grow into a key piece.

Final Takeaways: Who Won Round 1?
Best Pick: Tennessee Titans — Jeremiyah Love
Elite talent at a premium impact position. Love has the potential to be the most explosive player in this class, and Tennessee doesn’t overthink it.
Biggest Steal: Dallas Cowboys — Caleb Downs
If Downs slips to 12, it’s a massive win. He’s a top-five caliber talent who immediately upgrades the entire secondary.
